The Gemini Springs Labor Day 4-Day Challenge runs on the Spring-to-Spring Trail / Pat Northey Pathway in DeBary, FL. The course starts and finishes at the O.K. Corral pavilion at Gemini Springs Park.
Every distance follows the same out-and-back route — out along the trail to a marked turnaround and back. Every repeat brings you back to the O.K. Corral for aid, then sends you out again.
Oak and palm hammock overhead nearly the whole way.
Runners may access their own vehicle if parked near the course, though reaching it means stepping off the path and will add distance.
No shirts. No race bags. No expo. No chip timing. Nothing in a bag at the finish. A measured course. A clock. A finish that gets recorded. And a reason to come back tomorrow.
Gemini Springs Park, 37 Dirksen Drive, DeBary, FL 32713. Turn left into the main park entrance from Dirksen Drive, follow the main park road, and stay left where the road splits. That lane leads directly into the West Parking Lot, adjacent to the dog park and the O.K. Corral pavilion. Arrive early.
This is a cupless event. Carry your own fluids — handheld bottle, vest, or waist pack. MileBuilt provides water, an electrolyte drink, and basic snacks at the aid station. Do not rely on the aid station as your complete nutrition plan, especially for longer distances or multi-day participation.
Bibs are available for pickup on race day beginning one hour before your scheduled start time — honor system, no ID required. A friend may pick up your bib on your behalf. No bib transfers — your bib is registered to you.
Not chip timed. When you finish: cross the line, strike the GONG, then complete the Clock Out at the MileBuilt Time Clock.
Official finish times are recorded at the MileBuilt Time Clock and verified by the Race Director before results are posted. Every runner must complete the Clock Out process to receive an official finish record.
Four race days in Florida in September. This event is built for those conditions.
Ice and cold fluids are held at the O.K. Corral through the full race day, not only the early hours. The pavilion is covered, and oak and palm hammock runs overhead nearly the whole course.
The Race Director may adjust start times or the course for conditions. Registered runners are notified of any change.
Flying in. Orlando Sanford International (SFB) is roughly 20 minutes away. Orlando International (MCO) is roughly 45 minutes. Rental cars are available at both.
Driving. The park sits on Dirksen Drive, just west of I-4. Hotels are within a few miles in DeBary, Orange City, Deltona and Sanford.
Four race days means four mornings at the park. Plan for a vehicle. SunRail does not run weekends or holidays.
Primitive tent camping only. Ten sites inside Gemini Springs Park, each with a fire ring, picnic table, and groomed tent pad. No RVs. Reserved directly through Volusia County (386-736-5953), not through race registration, and sites are limited.
Every finish earns the Daily Finisher Medallion. Run all four days on a Streak and you earn the Tier Patch. Pick a distance each morning — any distance holds the Streak, and your longest race sets your tier.
One race day. Pick any distance. No pledge. No tier. Daily Finisher Medallion.
Two or three race days. Any distances. No pledge. No tier. Daily Finisher Medallion each day.
All four days, consecutive. Sign your personal pledge at registration. Built-in Streak pricing. Earn your Tier Patch upon completion.
